Who we are

Hi! We're Jay and Eugenie, two besties who met 7 years ago and vowed then and there to start a business together (which is what this is attempting to be!).

A little about us! Jay is an avid musician and snowboarder (weird mix, we know). He studied Indian classical music for close to a decade and is still extremely passionate about it to this day. He loves cricket, and you may or may not find him shadow bowling around the streets of Sydney (definitely an ick). He's also obsessed with travel, and it is his life's mission to make it meaningfully easier to travel with the people you love.

Eugenie loves creating - from sewing clothes, shaping clay, or bringing ideas to life through code. She also loves staying active - you'll find her emulating Nadal on the tennis court, running (check out her Strava), or playing OzTag (an Australian sport which is some kind of mix of rugby and tag?). She loves travel just as much as Jay, just not so much the planning part... hence, troopa!

Professionally, Jay used to be a strategy consultant and Eugenie is currently a software engineer. But that's boring so we're going to stop talking about that there.

We hope you absolutely love using troopa. This has been our baby and our brainchild for the last year, so we're so excited for it to be out into the world.
